About The Samuel Clemens Room

An often requested room is the guest room in which Mark Twain stayed. Because Samuel Clemens moved away from Hannibal at age 18, he would stay at the Garth Mansion in this very room when he visited.

There are three ten-foot windows, one with a front view, and two on the garden side. View the front lawn and gardens while looking out your room’s windows, with the original panes of glass.

This room has a private bath with shower. An exquisite queen-size, half-tester bed wraps you in luxurious comfort-

There is also the original Carrera marble (remote controlled, gas burning) fireplace.
