Our Hannibal MO Lodging Accommodations

The Garth Woodside Mansion offers Hannibal, MO lodging in eight large smoke-free guestrooms in the Mansion, elegantly appointed with Victorian antiques.  Our historic B&B is an inviting alternative to hotel lodging.  All of the inn’s rooms have a private bath and a hypoallergenic featherbed. We have carefully selected fabrics, materials, and textures to blend with one of the finest 19th century furniture collections in the Midwest. Charming amenities include custom-made bath soaps of bayberry and unscented oatmeal. In such peaceful surroundings, 20th century troubles seem to float away. 

There are additional accommodations in our guest cottages and the romantic Dowager House.

The mansion, cottages, and Dowager House are smoke-free.

Amenities and Notes:

• All rooms feature private baths. Customized amenities: soaps, toothbrushes, shampoo. Hair dryer, floss, toothpaste, various samples.
• Central heating and air conditioning.
• Fireplaces in the cottages, and most rooms. The Dowager has 2.
• Custom robes in most rooms. Triple Sheeted beds with extra pillows.
• Featherbeds in each room. High-quality linens and towels.
• Original antiques in mansion and rooms.
• Some rooms feature Whirlpool tubs. One room (Rosewood) features a beautiful original claw-foot tub and marble sink.
• House refrigerator stocked with sodas, bottled water, etc. Chocolate Chip cookies come out of oven hot at check-in.
• Full hot breakfast served to you is included in the room rate.

Good to know:

• Air conditioners are not window units. Each of our Hannibal Mo lodging rooms has a thermostat to control its own zone.
• Fireplaces are active only November - February. In March and October they are active when the temp outside falls below our minimum.
• Extra linens, towels, and pillows are available in room and/or upon request.
• Cookies usually come out of the oven around 4:00 pm (check-in time).
• The MAP Plan stands for the Modified American Plan. This means that breakfast and dinner are both served/included with your Hannibal MO lodging. You may upgrade to the MAP plan in advance for $20 per couple. The MAP plan does not include alcohol, or gratuity. The MAP plan cannot be used in conjunction with other specials and offers.
• Pets are permitted only in the cottages. Pets must be in a kennel at all times when inside. Please contact us for our current pet policy.
